As part of government advice it has been stipulated that public spaces should not be overcrowded and to further encourage social distancing control through the use of signage within public spaces. 

Our Q Control system assists retailers and other enclosed places such as library’s, cafe’s, restaurants, pubs, pharmacies, retail store and other similar establishments to meet these government rules.

It can also help your customers feel safer and build trust in your company by having a modern system to encourage social distancing for everybody’s safety and ultimately lead to higher footfall within your premises. 

How It Works

The Q Control social distancing control system is cost efficient.  By allowing the system to regulate entry and exit from the store where possible, the staff members you would otherwise use can be utilised elsewhere in the store.  It also reduces the risk of exposing those staff members to being in high traffic areas where social distancing is more difficult to achieve at all times.

The system is easy to install and it works by counting the number of people entering and exiting the store, this is then displayed on our LED screens with a clear message.  You set the maximum number of people you can safely allow to be in the store at any one time and when the system reaches that number, the screen will display a message informing the customer to wait until it is safe to enter.

When a customer exits the store, the screen’s message changes and informs the customer that they can now enter the store and then switch back to the Please Wait message until it is  safe for another customer to enter.

Show Other Safety Messages and Store Promotion

As this is a form of digital signage, you can also show other safety messages on the screen which those that are waiting and walking passed the screen have an opportunity to see.  You can also take this opportunity to show any store promotions you may have or any other brand or company content that you would like to display such as social media links or encouraging the customer to take a selfie and tag the store.

As customers are walking past your store, the screen can communicate and inform the customer that the store can be entered or to wait until it is safe to do so.  This could further increase footfall within the store. 

Flexibility

The size and quantity of screens used can be adjusted to your specific needs.  We have small screens for store entrances.  It can be larger if you have a medium to large size store entrance.  It can be linked to multiple other screens if you have multiple entry and exit points,  It can also be extremely large for larger entrances such as those at shopping centres enabling you to communicate your safety messages with people that are further away.

No long term contracts

We offer the Q Control system on a rental basis and so there are no long term contracts that need to be agreed.  On the other hand, should you need a longer term solution, we can provide this also.  Alternatively, you can also purchase the system. 

We take care of installation

We handle everything from the supply, installation and any maintenance required.  It is a modular system which can be expanded on should the need arise.

Analytical data for chain stores and enterprises
